Riding on the Mountain bike circuit

For the Easter long weekend we stayed at Cambalala hut, in the Cathedral Peak area, for a friend’s 70th birthday. We had to take advantage of the superb mountain biking in the area. Steve and I rode up Mike’s pass the first day – super training!

Taking a hike with the birthday girl was absolutely beautiful! And having a glass of wine, a barbeque and birthday cake was the perfect way of ending the day …

After the Raubenheimers arrived we had to also do the amazing mountain biking loop at the top op Mike’s Pass. It is only 20km long, but it quite tough going! I have to admit stopping to watch the view was just half a truth, but look at the pictures – riding in an environment like this is absolutely breathtaking! From there Steve and I went to the Mweni area and had an absolute ball riding on any ride-able tracks.
