3 days and 3 nights in the Northern Drakensberg. A circular route taking in some of South Africa’s most spectacular mountains. High and very rugged, we summit Cleft Peak early on day two.
Hiking is on steep paths and some off-trail hiking. You need to be fit able to carry your own rucksack. A few places are exposed, so a good head for heights is needed.
