Equipment Storage and Care

All equipment is to be stored in a metal trunk or bag.
An inventory of each trunk’s contents is to be kept inside.
Each climber should be responsible for his own personal climbing equipment.
As a rule all nylon equipment including ropes should be replaced every 4 to 5 years.
Never store the trunk or any of the contents near or with chemicals.
Never use the equipment for any other use other than climbing and abseiling.
Equipment should be kept together as a unit in the metal trunk and not mixed up with other equipment.
Never store the equipment when it is wet.
